Supervisor cables, or ‘Y cords’ fit in between the headset cable and the telephone connection cable (or USB adapter), to allow two headsets to fit to one phone for training or conferencing purposes.
The new improved cable features a mute button on one side of the supervisor cable to allow the supervisor to mute and un-mute their microphone as and when they need to. This means greater flexibility for the call compared to the previous supervisor cable options (both microphones permanently live or one microphone permanently muted).
